About Us

Our Story

Established in 1981 by Richard and Sue Cox, Cox Autobody Inc. has been a passionate venture from its inception. Richard Cox, driven by a deep affection for restoring cars, embarked on this journey with just a modest 3-bay garage and a pair of determined hands. As the years unfolded, their family expanded, and their shop evolved into a cornerstone of the community. In the early days, Richard’s son, Robert, was a constant presence in the shop, standing side by side with his father and contributing in every way possible—whether it was warmly greeting customers or mastering the art of paint mixing. More than an inheritance of a love for classic cars, Richard passed on a commitment to unwavering quality and values.

Even during his son Robert’s childhood, the shop thrived as a hub of activity. Richard Cox’s principles, rooted in community support and dedication to our Air Force, have remained the guiding ethos of the business. In 2018, following Richard’s passing, Robert assumed leadership, ensuring the continuity of this family-owned legacy. Like his father, Robert is deeply ingrained in the community, and alongside his dedicated team, he goes the extra mile to deliver exceptional service. Today, Cox Autobody Inc. not only cherishes classic cars but works to follow safety standards on newer vehicles. The passion for these automotive treasures, passed down through generations, is a testament to the enduring legacy of Cox Autobody Inc.—a legacy built on quality work, shared values, and a profound sense of community.

Who is Robert
